I had the thought of writing a post about 2020 and my mind was inundated with a flurry of ideas. So I decided to publish a couple of posts about my personnal favourite content. Firstly, I published my Top 6 blog posts for 2020, a list of my favourite posts published in 2020.
This next post is my Top 6 Instagram posts for 2020.
So here are my Top 6 Instagram Posts for 2020
What I love about Instagram is the instant engagement it provides.
I have literally been blown away with the inspiration and support that I have experienced on the gram.
1 | Cuba’s Bookishly Children’s clothing campaign
I can’t believe how grown up Cuba looks on this photo. Being the bookworm that he is, Cuba was delighted to be asked to model this super cool literally quotation sweater by Bookishly UK.
We planned the photo shoot on the first day of the Christmas school holidays, knowing the weather would be fine and sunny.
Cuba braved the cold and despite the early bird walkers around the country park, he really impressed me with his determination, confidence and dare I say professionalism.
Bless him he really wanted to do well.

2 | The Pandemic And Teenagers Mental Health
I like many parents of teenagers hadn’t spent as much time with my daughter Kia for a while until lockdown. The day I took this gorgeous photo of Kia was during a scorching hot summers day in July. We enjoyed a family picnic and had the opportunity to engage in some real heart to hearts.
It was my first light bulb moment regarding the realisation about how the pandemic had completely stolen the freedom that I took for granted when I was Kia’s age. My Insta family were totally on the same page as I was. I received some amazing engaement through comments and Dm’s, the support for one another was amazing.

3 | Coco’s 4th birthday
Coco’s birthday was during the first week back to school, which was a super busy week to say the least.
All my children’s birthdays were an emotional event this year for obvious reasons. And like most parents last summer we had the extra challenges of organising birthday celebrations within the lockdown rules.
This year was the year we were going to have big parties and celebration’s. However, the kids were so graceful and understanding which made me so super proud.
We did our best and the kids seemed to really appreciated our efforts.

4 | Sweet Child Of Mine
I joined in the in the blogtober20 this autumn for the very first time. Mandi Jane Morrison the face behind the blog ‘Big Family Organised Chaos’ ran the bloggers Linky this year. One of my favourite posts to come out of bolgtober20 was titled sweet child of mine. The perfect description for my youngest child Coco -Ivy. Any gorgeous picture of Coco with a meaningful caption is always well received on the gram. I could post cute photos of her everyday.

It’s got to be one of the kids favourite posts on my main grid, and you can see why. They all enjoyed wearing the same pj’s with mum and dad.

The pandemic has pretty much changed everything this year hasn’t it? All birthdays are lockdown birthdays now. I think that although it has stolen freedom from our teenagers, the upside is we have had a chance to connect with them again. Lovely thoughtful posts and photos. #MischiefAndMemories
I absolutely LOVE the matching PJs pics! Birthdays last year were so peculiar and emotional: I’m hoping for more normality this year… Thanks for linking up with #MischiefAndMemories
Lovely images. I actually have a bedding set on right now which is just like those pjs! #MischiefandMemories
