It’s Blogtober day 5 and the prompt is ‘Manic Monday’
Now the kids are back to school Monday’s can be total chaos at the moment. We are all totally out of practice and we are finding the weekends whizz by super fast.
So today’s post is a review on some gorgeous Sanctuary Spa products that have helped me save a lot of time.
I have been using some of these products religiously for some time now.
I absolutely need to take better care of my skin however, this busy mama of three kids usually neglects herself. I have definitely taken my skin for granted over the years and inevitably it has changed in appearance. It doesn’t glow as it was once did, long gone are the days when I could grab a quick take out for supper and enjoy sharing a bottle or two of red with my pals, to wake up the following day with a glowy radiant complexion, grab a bar of Dove soap and a bottle of Palmers cocoa butter for a top to toe shower and moisturising regime.
Since having kids, my skin type has changed from fairly ‘normal’ to dry and patchy. so, I have been sampling a few new wash and moisturising products which have had good results initially then after time don’t have the same effects they once did, my poor skin is screaming out at me for some extra TLC.
I want to share some of my current and reoccurring skin dilemmas and some amazing solutions thanks to Sanctuary Spa. I’ve seen many Sanctuary Spa Products in the Christmas 3for2 offers in Boots however, i’ve never purchased them before. In my attempt in improving my all over skincare routine, I have been super excited to sample several of their products. The company originally from Covent Garden was established way back in 1977 and today create luxurious products to ‘revive, uplift and replenish’. To read about how the company has moved on since 1977 to today click here.
Mamanista’s skin dilemma 1 | In my conscious efforts to take better care of my skin, I’ve been trying to sleep as much as I can around the kids, I’ve resisted the odd cheeky glasses of Rioja and I have even been eating my five a day and drinking lots of water for extra hydration. However, I’m still waking up most mornings with my face feeling dry and it remains dull in appearance. My usual facial washes for dry skin or face masks aren’t helping long term.
Mamanista’s Solution | Sanctuary Spa Moisture Burst Face Wash 1 Minute Daily Glow Mask on offer £10.50 from Boots This pre-shower illuminating treatment, with residence boosting Kadadu plum, brightening vitamin C and nutrient rich rosemary extract for all skin types is such a treat for skin in need of some extra special TLC. Just thinly apply all over on your dry skin for 60 seconds and rinse, voila your skin will feel and look glowy, brighter and radient.
Mamanista’s Skin Dilemma 2| Getting ready for the usual busy mummy juggle kinda week ahead. Wet and windy school run, messy play sessions at the local children’s centre, multiple rounds at Tesco rushing to replenish the kitchen cupboards, washing, cooking, cleaning blah, blah. My skin is definitely gonna need some extra TLC when it comes to cleansing.
Mamanista’s Solutions
Sanctuary Spa Melt Away Cleansing Oil on offer £9 from Boots | So I am massively into oil products and this is my favourite product by far. You take 1 or 2 pumps of this light weight silky oil and apply to your dry skin. It magically transforms into a nourishing milk as you massage it in. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. It certainly lives up to its promise as it ‘instantly melts away make-up and dissolves dirt to leave skin ultra clean, super soft, hydrated and without any greasy residue.’ The oil is 100% naturally fragranced which for me makes it more appealing and adds charm to any oil product. I highly recommend you treat yourself and try this beautiful cleanser.
Sanctuary Spa Moisture Burst Face Wash on offer £6 from Boots| This refreshing daily cleanser with bursting jojoba beads is perfect for cleansing away the grime and daily dirt whilst refreshing and moisturising as it actually works without ‘over drying’ your skin. Squeeze onto your finger tips and massage into your face and neck, rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat your skin dry. The face wash does live up to it’s promises my skin felt really freshly cleansed with a ‘soft, dewy, fresh glow.’ My only criticism is I was expecting the fragrance of the almond oil to be more intense. However this is the most luxurious whilst refreshing daily facial cleanser I have ever used.
Mamanista’s Skin Dilemma 3 | We have recently moved house so I have been super busy with a to do list that never ends and the kids routines are completely disrupted so, i’ve been slipping back into my old bad skincare habits. Especially trying to save time after showering, I get dressed first then, only moisturising the bits of flesh on show. Not great I know, but whats a busy mama to do?
Mamanista’s Solutions | Sanctuary Spa Wet Skin Range
So before I get out of the shower I apply any of the wet skin products whilst I am soaking wet, applying like I would any body moisturiser. Without any rinsing, I simply towel dry and get dressed as normal. There are 3 different products within the range to choose from.
Firstly my everyday favourite is the Sanctuary Spa Wet Skin Radiance Jelly on offer £6 from Boots, it’s a gel option which locks in 3x the moisture and refines the skin for 3x the radiance to my dull an uneven skin. Quick, easy and effective perfect for all busy mamas and its gorgeous watermelon fragrance means mama smells fruity good too!
Next is the Sanctuary Spa Wet Skin Moisture Miracle £8 from Boots, which locks in twice as much moisture twice as fast for those days we mamas need the easiest, quickest and most effective way to moisture our skin. The long lasting fragrance will keep us smelling good all day too.
Finally the Sanctuary Spa Ultra Rich Wet Skin Moisture Miracle on offer for £5 from Boots, is the most intensive and luxurious lotion for dry skin that locks in 5x more moisture for up to 72 hours. Perfect for when we busy mamas have a long day or two ahead. The ‘SmartMoisture’ technology with “SuperCharged Hyaluronic Acid duo’, ‘Replenishing Oil Blend’ and ‘Natural Shea and Cocoa Butters’ is perfect for mamas desiring the most indulgent of the wet skin products. I plan to apply the Sanctuary Spa Ultra Rich Wet Skin Moisture Miracle when traveling this summer, so I know my skin will be beach ready upon arrival and during our summer vacay.
You can buy all these gorgeous products in store and online in Boots and online at Sanctuary Spa.
What skincare dilemma’s have you experienced? I would love to hear about your skincare regimes.
Lot’s of love

I loved reading this post, more please! I’ve been a fan of Sanctuary products for the longest time. I’m not sure if I’d use the facial oil as I already have an oily face but would use everything else.
