As i’ve mentioned a few times before I love kids fashion, especially shopping on the high street for child appropriate pieces. My shopping habits have deffinitley changed over the years. I used to buy far too many clothes and spend far too much money on designer labels for my eldest daughter Kia, who is now 16. Of course, I still love designer labels but today I am a mama of three children. Along with my age, experience and a household budget to consider, my conscience won’t permit such extravagance. Also, the British high street has so much more to offer than it did sixteen years ago and there is so much choice and prices to match all tastes and budgets.
My current favourite children’s high street clothing stores these days are Primark, Zara, next, H&M and Gap. I will be publishing articles featuring the kids latest outfits and sharing some styling tips that have worked for us with you in the coming future.
One of my favourite purchases for Coco-Ivy’s summer holiday this year was this playsuit from Primark. Although the summer season is coming to an end, I wanted to share this purchase with you. It is something I wouldn’t usually choose as it is slightly out of my comfort zone, due to the off the shoulder details. However, how cute does she look? I’m so glad I gave it a try.
Coco-Ivy is wearing the suit in size 3-4 years so it has plenty of growing room and hopefully, she will still be able to wear it in the spring next year.
I loved the pink animal print as soon as I saw it.
The shoulder straps and loosely elasticated waistline gently hold the playsuit in place. I especially love the girly frilly shoulder detail, I think it definitely adds to the cuteness of the playsuit. Coco-Ivy also loved the playsuit as soon as she saw it and she was eager to try it on.
I teamed the playsuit with these adorable white sandals from Zara. These sandals are perfect for the summer holidays as they are so light in weight, making them so comfortable for Coco-Ivy to wear in the heat. The sandals have a velcro fastening on the side which provides a perfect fit every time. I especially love these sandals as they are so versatile, making a perfect look for all her dresses, shorts, jeans and leggings.
Its plain to see Coco-Ivy loves wearing this super cute pink playsuit.
Loving this look for my gorgeous little señorita.
Which are your favourite kids high street shops? I’m always on the look out for new places to shop for the kids clothes.
As always I love hearing your comments.
Lot’s of love,

I quite like Zara too. Like you, I also buy Alex’s clothes at Primark and Next sometimes.
